Briony approaches her work as an image specialist with an eye on fashion, of course, however her personalised service goes far beyond being about garments and glamour. She cares less about trends and more about what is going to work for you.

Briony’s confidence and dedication to giving a unique and quality experience to her clients goes back a long way, having had a “past life” in entertainment before stepping off the stage and into styling. Her career as a singer saw Briony perform in every pocket of her hometown Melbourne, including a stint as the sidekick of one of Australia’s most-loved national treasures: Humphrey B Bear.

In 2006 Briony joined an international band as lead vocalist, touring across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Here’s where the styling bug started to take hold: Briony quickly built a reputation for herself styling her band at high profile events, television appearances, and for billboard advertising. The great energy and satisfaction she found in making the people around her look and feel great was addictive. It was time to take the next step.

Having put her styling credentials to the test, Briony returned home in 2009 to create Alla Moda Styling and established herself as a professional stylist. Qualifications in personal styling, IT and business have given Briony the depth of knowledge necessary to offer the efficient, professional and effective services she continues to provide.

Since establishing her personal brand, Briony has built a reputation as an essential reference point for individuals and businesses in need of a fresh and fun approach to style. Briony has created ‘Look Books’ and styled digital and catalogue shoots for some of Australia’s most trusted brands – Review, Metalicus, Peter Alexander , Just Jeans, Jacqui E, Jay Jays. Her styling eye has been utilised as part of both L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival (now VAMFF) and Melbourne Spring Fashion Week – Melbourne’s premiere annual fashion festivals. She has presented numerous corporate showcases specialising in image and provided training to staff on what to wear to fulfil the needs of the business and reach personal goals.

Briony has collaborated with design teams on corporate uniform concept, design and selection processes for a range of companies, from small to medium businesses and entrepreneurs to large-scale organisations with several hundred employees, including Commonwealth Bank, JB HiFi, National Bank and Flight Centre. Showing flexibility in her field, Briony has also leant her wealth of knowledge to marketing campaigns for Fernwood Fitness, Skybus and Metalicus, as host and presenter in a series of style videos.

Briony Croft ‘gets’ fashion, but beyond the ins and outs of the industry, she has a deep understanding of how a robust personal image contributes immeasurably to confidence. This is what she brings out of her clients across the board. Her professionalism and excitement for what she does shines through every experience, and has solidified her position as one of Melbourne’s most sought after image specialists.
